RAMSLEY residents Jim and Girlie Cooper have been demoralised by thieves who stole a prized possession recently.

The couple have spent many years creating a fantasy wonderland in their garden, with ornaments including animals, pixies and gnomes. Many items were gifts from the couple?s family.

On the Friday before Mothering Sunday, thieves stole a number of gnomes and a 2ft 6in high statue of two otters which was in pride of place in the garden. The gnomes were returned the following Monday, but the otters are still missing.
