NOEL Harrison, made famous in the UK by his hit song 'The Windmills of Your Mind' is due to perform in Mary Tavy this month. His evocative song won an Oscar as part of the soundtrack for the original 'Thomas Crown Affair', which starred Steve McQueen and Faye Dunaway, and he is also famous for being the son of the late actor, Sir Rex Harrison. Noel has been playing guitar and singing songs for over fifty years. He has played in every type of venue, from huge festival audiences to small clubs and bars around the world. On this journey he picked up songs and tunes and his repertoire ranges from sophisticated standards to simple country tunes. He takes his audience on a multi-faceted ride illuminated by anecdote and wit. He will be appearing at Mary Tavy Coronation Hall on Friday March 24 at 7.30pm.
