TAVISTOCK Friends Group of Children's Hospice South West are launching the first ever Children's Hospice South West Tavistock Trivia Trophy at its annual quiz night.

The event will be held at the Anchorage Centre in Tavistock on Friday, February 19.

The Friends hope that all the quiz teams in the area will want to win this title and hold the trophy for 2010. It will be a fun quiz with a light supper and drink included in the ticket price of £6 per person.

The members of the Tavistock Friends Group are hoping that lots of teams come along and have a great evening out and at the same time, help to build a new Children's Hospice for the families with Life Limited children from this area.

Spokesperson for the Friends Group, Julia Easton said: 'We are expecting all the teams to vie for the honour of being the very first holders of the Tavistock Trivia Trophy and prove just how brainy Tavistock really is.'
