WEST Devon children's charity CHICKS (Country Holidays for Inner City Kids), is holding an open day at its Moorland Retreat in Brentor on Friday, September 20.

Visitors to the open day will be able to have a tour of the retreat and the onsite facilities, meet the CHICKS staff, find out more about the charity's work and enjoy some delicious tea and cake as part of its Tea@Three launch.

CHICKS provides free respite breaks for disadvantaged children across the UK.

Coaches and large groups are more than welcome to attend the event, but should contact the charity beforehand.

The event will run from 2pm to 6pm.
