CUSTOMERS to ?Tavistock 2? ? St Luke?s Hospice?s second shop on Brook Street ? are invited to join the celebrations tomorrow (Friday) as the shop marks its first year of trading. The need for the second shop came after it became obvious the first shop in Duke Street was, although successful, far too small. As there was not a larger shop available, the decision was taken to have two small shops. Thanks go to the team of volunteers, without whom the shop could not function, loyal customers and the generosity and goodwill of neighbouring businesses and residents. Volunteers to help in the shop and good quality donations are always welcome to help the hospice continue its essential patient care. For more information, ask for Jane Portman, shop manager.
