THE 4th Tavistock Guides celebrated carnival week with an alternative sports evening in The Meadows — and the bonus of a hot air ballooning experience, thanks to Trinity Balloons.
The volunteer crew inflated their new ’Jesus Loves You’ hot air balloon, which was substantially funded by church congregations in the town.
The Guides learnt about the science of balloon flight and had a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to walk around inside the enormous balloon envelope before it rose above the town.
