THE Tavy 13 on Sunday in Tavistock proved a great draw for local runners — of all ages and abilities.

Attracting more than 550 runners, there were three sections open to runners — the Tavy 13 half marathon, the 2.5 mile Fun Run or very much part of the event 'The Primary Challenge' for young schoolchildren.

Among those taking part were the Dartmoor Search and Rescue team who carried a stretcher around the course.
