OKEHAMPTON started with the forwards playing well at this plate final played on Exeter Chiefs front pitch.

Luke Liversidge for Oke broke from the back of the line out to pass to Luke Simmons onto Will Cooper who came in at pace, handing off a number of the opposition to score the opening try under the posts which was converted by Billy Searle.

The forwards took control with a series of pick and drives, Ike Francis making his presence felt and tackling well. Andy Craddick, joint man of the match, was everywhere in the loose, Paddy Nash went into contact, they rucked well and Angus Mortimore stretching out to score a try.

Matt Baker at hooker threw in through a number of highly competitive line outs. A scrum broke down into a ruck which Calum Pillivant picked up, passed to Billy Searle, onto Luke Liversidge and Will Cooper ran around to score near the touch line, which was again converted.

In the second half, Giles Heard made a couple of breaks and a number of good tackles. Zac Ponsford, joint man of the match, made strong counter attacking runs supported by Dan Squire on the wing.

Zac Middleton propping in the second half strengthened the quality of scrummaging. Jake Giles-Phillips won good line out ball and counter attacked well. Billy Searle from the scrum side stepped to score another try.

Okes withstood the pressure culminating in a try saving tackle from Connor Vincent. Josh Bickley went on a series of sniping runs to enable Calum Pillivant to score a try which was converted. Patrick Webb took the ball into a maul and marched on against Brixham. Okes were unlucky to concede a try in the dying minutes.
