AT Okehampton Golf Club on Saturday 40 teams took part in the John Norman trophy. The competition was a three-ball stableford all to count.
Results: first with an excellent 102 points were J Gillard, M Lang and M Aggett.
Second with 99 points J Haslem, J Birch and R Hodge.
Third with 97 points S Wilson, J Tolley and D K Cornwall.
Okehampton played Downes, Crediton in the first Dartmoor League match, which resulted in two and a half points each.
