SINCE April a group of young dancers have been rehearsing in preparation for the Okehampton Show.

The group, Elite, is formed of 15 dancers who perform a variety of dances at various events.

Split into two groups, the 6-10 year olds and the 11s and overs, the Okehampton based group will be entertaining show visitors with three dances on the day.

Both groups enjoy street dance and the younger dancers will be performing to a 'Little Mix' song of their choice.

The young dancers will also show their creative talents when a street dance choreographed by two of the boys dancers, Ben Harving and Jordan Drew, is shown to the public.

Dance teacher and choreographer Stephanie Pickering said: 'We are looking for recruits to join us in September, so anyone aged up to 18 years old is welcome to just turn up to rehearsals, every Monday at 4.30pm, at the Conservative Club in Okehampton.'

So prepare for lots of energy, music and dancing when Elite takes to the stage at the show!
