OKEHAMPTON Table Tennis Club?s new partnership with leading children?s sport charity Access Sport was launched with a Festival Day last Saturday. The action packed day marked the start of a partnership aimed at increasing participation levels amongst young players at the club. The Open Day saw over 30 youngsters enjoying a range of activities including various coaching sessions, fun competitions and a table tennis exhibition by some of England?s top ranked players. In addition, there was a chance to enter a raffle to win 2 Premiership football match tickets to a club of the winner?s choice. Everyone received a goody bag at the end of what proved to be a hugely successful day for both the club itself and its partnership with Access Sport. This new relationship reinforces Access Sport?s commitment to increase youth participation through community sports clubs.
