THIS started as a close game with Dodgers keeping up with Falcons all the way. The pairing of Dodgers young shooters was working well and their shooting was on fine form.

Jo Luxton for Falcons had her usual consistent game and Ros Bragg for Falcons and Caroline Luke for Dodgers were evenly matched around the court. In the final quarter after changing three players Falcons pulled ahead to win the match by 13 goals.

Phoenix 57

Bradford Belles 11

In the second Division Phoenix played Bradford Belles and dominated the game from the start. Phoenix defence were excellent and Belles shooters seemed thwarted at every opportunity on goal.

Despite the score Bradford Belles produced some good netball but Phoenix were in top form.
