The Memory Tree of Light, introduced last year in Okehampton to complement the town's beautiful display of Christmas lights, is once again shining out in the Red Lion Yard.

The tree is well on its way to becoming an annual tradition with lights sponsored by local people in memory of loved ones who have passed away.

This year saw a bigger tree donated by Gemma Rich, who sings in ’The Hummingbirds’ close harmony trio and lives locally.

She and the rest of the group came to sing songs around the tree on Edwardian Evening which was back in earnest this year.
