Okehampton 0

PGSOB C 3

OKEHAMPTON started brightly, keen to get back to winning ways. They dictated play through the midfield with Andy Finley and Richard Jones distributing telling balls.

John Cross and Phil Mellor on either wings worked PGs defence, but the dominance did not result in Okehampton scoring.

Marshalling the defence was Colin Lethbridge, intercepting and picking up any loose balls. The

result of telling pressure by the away team was a converted penalty corner, leaving Okehampton trailing at half-time.

Okehampton were confident they could turn this score around in the second half, but it just did not happen. PGSOBs broke through the defence and scored midway through the second half.

Okehampton?s heads dropped and there seemed to be no way through the opposing side?s defence. Frustration turned to disappointment when Okehampton conceded a third goal with only a few minutes remaining.
