THE Co-operative in Okehampton has donated £2,524 to the Ockment Centre.

A spokesperson for the Ockment Centre said: ’We would like to thank all the Co-op customers who nominated us as their charity and the Co-op store who set up the Community Fund.

’We are using our share of the fund to help pay for the replacement windows we are hoping to have installed in the summer. This is a big undertaking for us as we need to raise over £50,000, we are applying for grants and fundraising so the money donated by Co-op will be a great contribution to our funds.’
