The New Year continued from where 2009 had left off last weekend as all three teams saw their matches postponed due to frozen pitches.
The first XI has now not played since December 5. Results elsewhere in the Peninsula League went against them with bottom side Ottery St Mary winning away at Bickleigh – as a result Argyle are now propping up the table but with a game in hand.
Managers Stuart Cann and Neil Agnew have been active in the transfer market over Christmas and have secured the services of forwards Frankie Nomah-Koneh and Kel Fofala from SWP Premier division side Clyst Rovers.
Argyle's second XI are in a comfortable mid-table position with several games in hand, which if results go their way could see them move into the promotion places. In their last league outing way back at the end of October, they produced the result of the day when they took away the League leader's 100% record with a 1-0 away win.
The newly promoted thirds are having a difficult season and are finding goals hard to come by so January will be a crucial month for them as they try to pull away from the relegation zone.
Charlie Bond, the secretary of Okehampton Argyle FC, said: 'All at the club are hoping pitches will be fit to play this Saturday.'
