OKEHAMPTON’S Annual Town Assembly takes place in the Charter Hall at 7pm on Monday, March 26.

The meeting is traditionally called by the mayor to review the town council’s work over the past year and give parishioners a chance to ask questions about it.

Chairmen or vice-chairs of the council committees will be present and there will be an opportunity for members of the public to raise issues with them.

People on the electoral roll of Okehampton Town parish have the right to speak at the meeting and can also also raise questions with the town council to be added to the agenda. These should be emailed to the town clerk Emma James in advance, to be received by Wednesday, March 21.

She can be contacted on 01837 53179 or email [email protected]

The agenda can be found on the council’s website at www.okehampton.gov.uk
