ON Saturday at Okehampton Golf Club in lovely spring like conditions more than a 100 golfers took part in a four ball better ball Stableford competition.

Division one was closely contested with the first three pairs all finishing on 44 points. The winners were Nick Heath and Adam Cook on the back nine. Rob Camies and Dave Bickle were second on the back six from Andy and Lewis Parry. In fourth came Chris Pike and Gareth Holt with 43 pts.

Winners of division two were Steve Browne and Adrian Rice with 43pts. Once again we had a hard fought contest with the next three pairs finishing on 42pts. Second were Nick Redman and Will Kinkead on the back nine. Third were Ray Grey and Bob Collett on the back six, from in fourth Paul and Michael MacDonald.
