OKEHAMPTON Community Recreation Association and North Tamar Fencing Club annual fencing competition was held at Parklands Leisure Centre.

The fencing club in Okehampton held their annual club competition, which was well supported with competitors and supporters.

The competitors played a series of matches against each other over the course of the day. 

A very busy and exciting series of fencing matches resulted in the U13s section being won by Ben Taylor, the senior section by Danny Bashford and the Eastbrook Farm adult section was won by David Axford.

Fencing coach Phil Westerley said 'a good day was had by all.'

 OCRA are delighted to announce that the fencing club has a brand new fencing kit for children from six years.

n Fencing is available in Okehampton with all equipment provided for children and young people, 6-16 years, on Tuesday evenings between 5pm-6.30pm.
