WITH a show featuring some of the UK's finest talent, the talented four-piece band The Adventures Of . . . are proud to be bringing their Rock'n'Roll Circus and Cabaret Show to their home town of Tavistock.
Since winning the Wharf's South West Battle of the Bands competition last autumn, the band has continued to impress audiences all over the UK and are attracting a lot of interest from the music industry.
This will be the band's second Rock'n'Roll Circus and Cabaret Show, following a successful premiere last November in Exeter, in which audience members were wowed by world class acts and seduced by the Burlesque dance troupe, Naughty Toes and Muffin Tops.
Confirmed acts for this month's event at the Wharf include The Adventures Of . . .; Jimmy Tamley, comedy ventriloquist; Naughty Toes and Muffin Tops; Becky Brine, jazz singer; Robin Fox, magician; and Will Page, comedy acoustic singer. But there will also be a few surprises in store for the audience on the night.
Tickets for the 'night of wondrous delights' and 'all out mayhem' on Friday, March 27 are selling fast. To book a ticket call the Wharf's box office on 01822 611166. There is a late bar and barbecue from 7pm. The event is scheduled to run from 7pm to 11.55pm. Fancy dress is encouraged.
