TOP Christian evangelist Rachel Hickson is to visit Okehampton later this year. Rachel is the daughter of missionaries, and lived in India as a child. She will be speaking at the Octagon Theatre on Saturday, September 2, as a guest of Church of the Nations International. Rachel has been married to Gordon for 25 years, and they have two children, daughter Nicola and son David. Rachel worked with world evangelist Reinhard Bonnke for many years ? he is known for his crusades to Africa, which attract thousands os people Having travelled the world with Reinhard, Rachel and Gordon returned to England in 1990 and became senior pastors of a group of churches in the Watford area. Rachel almost died in a road accident at 24 when in Zimbabwe, but says she was helped by God?s healing power. Tickets, £5 must be bought in advance.
