OCRA ran a varied programme of activities for children and young people during February half term and were overwhelmed and delighted with the numbers of children wishing to attend.
More than 250 children attended different activities which included dance, circus skills, art, fencing, trampoline, tennis, swimming, plus the more traditional sports of football, cricket and tag rugby.
The sport specific camps and horse riding were also fully booked this half term with good weather just about holding out for the horse riding on Dartmoor.
OCRA also offered two free sport and art sessions in the villages of Chagford and Bridestowe.
These sessions are funded by The Big Lottery and are part of a larger project which will see OCRA return to 11 local villages this summer for a series of two hour after school clubs.
'It was fantastic to welcome so many children to our scheme and it was a lot of fun for everyone" said Sue Doidge, OCRA holiday scheme leader.
