Whitchurch U13s v Ivybridge U13s
WHITCHURCH batted first and lost Tom Towl early, but Tom Jackman (16) scored freely until out lbw.
Ben Hodge (14) and Barney Megicks (20) then had a steady partnership before Megicks was also out lbw.
Christian Hodges hit some lovely shots before being bowled for 25. Whitchurch then batted out their overs finishing on 116-7.
Ivybridge started slowly, with accurate bowling from Josh Towel and Christian Hodges, keeping them to below four a over.
It was then David Northey bowled the spell of the match (4-2-1-5) and backed up by Tom Philips, Dan Towl, Barney Megicks and Will Bennett, and also did some fine fielding — especially from Josh Towl and Ben Hodge. Ivybridge finished on 89-7 so Whitchurch won by 27 runs.
