I READ with interest a letter from T Smith (March 27) which I fully agree with.
As a visitor to Tavistock I am utterly confused with these so called ?courtesy crossings?. I have studied the Highway Code but have found no mention of them so I assume they are really illegal as there are no signs stating what one should do. They are not even marked as crossings.
