Bude A 3 Tavistock A 2 TAVISTOCK visited newly promoted Bude missing a few key players from the previous week?s game. The away side started strong but soon found the speed of the Bude midfield difficult to control. The visitors? passing was not up to the standard required and giving the ball away in the middle, soon found themselves behind. The pressure continued and Osborne maintained a respectable scoreline with some energetic goal keeping. Tavistock equalised via the persistent pressure of Andrews but could not hold that status for long. Bude continued to pressure and soon scored another when a loose ball in the visitors? D was not cleared away. Tavistock began to get their game together and through the controlled defensive play of Ollie Crittenden looked more stable at the back. Unluckily the Tavistock side conceded another goal but this just motivated a stronger response. With some tactical movement, Costello moved up and imposed some control in the middle and working tirelessly with Aveyard, created the opportunity for Daniels to slot his well taken goal against his old club. Tavistock continued to pressure but time ran out and left a disappointed Tavistock to travel back across the border to Devon. l Next week Tavistock A are at home to Penzance.
