OKEHAMPTON La Leche League has a new venue and will now meet on the fourth Friday of the month in Gratton Hall, Fairplace Church, Okehampton, from 10.30am to noon.
The group offers help and support to all women who wish to breastfeed, whether they have problems with breastfeeding or just want to meet up with others.
It is also for women who are still pregnant or are breastfeeding a baby of any age.
A trained breastfeeding counsellor will lead a discussion and this month's theme will be 'The family and the Breastfed Baby', which will look at ways to combine breastfeeding and family life.
There will be a chance to share experiences, learn from others and ask questions.
The group also has an extensive library of breastfeeding and parenting books, as well as leaflets to borrow.
Many of them were bought with a grant from Okehampton United charities and are not easily available in bookshops or public libraries.
