WEST Devon Citizens Advice Bureau has changed the venue for the drop-in advice sessions in Princetown, starting later this month.

The CAB will be bringing its outreach service to the Plume of Feathers Inn every third Wednesday of the month from 10am to noon, starting from October 20, instead of the village centre where the sessions were originally planned to be held.

CAB aims to help anyone who may otherwise find it difficult to access the Tavistock or Okehampton bureaux.

West Devon CAB is well known for its debt and welfare benefit service and advisors will be available to help people, in confidence, understand all the options available to them whatever their circumstances.

Mandy Kenyon, development officer, said: 'Thanks to funding from the Big Lottery Fund, we are able to go out on the road and provide additional services for local residents and help those who may have been hit by the recession or would normally find it difficult to access the CAB service.

'As well as Princetown, we regularly have outreach sessions at Bere Alston and Hatherleigh. We also have home visiting officers who will visit people who may be housebound for various reasons, including illness, caring responsibilities or transport issues.'
