NORTHLEW family firm Carmel Coaches have recently acquired four new coaches, having taken over Blueline Coaches of North Tawton on the retirement of its owner Alan Robison after 25 years in the coach business. The firm?s coaches will now operate from depots in Northlew, Okehampton and North Tawton and continue to offer the same service to its private hire, excursion and contract customers. Carmel Coaches has been operated by the Hazell family in Northlew since 1984. Carmel has been operating the ?Bizzy Bus? 318 service between North Tawton and Okehampton for a number of years and is now looking to extend this. Alan and Jean Robison will continue to be involved with the smooth running of the expanded system.
