Children's charity Barnardo's is offering another new service to families through its children's centres in Tavistock and Okehampton. The Tavistock Children's Centre has created the 'Latch On' group which meets in the library every Wednesday from 10am to11.30am. It offers books, DVDs and equipment for loan, as well as advice and support. Barnardo's spokesperson Janice Goodwin said: 'The 'Latch On" group is friendly and informal. 'Choosing to breast feed may be the most natural thing in the world, but it is a journey with challenges along the way. 'We offer peer support and help with making decisions and getting around obstacles, as well as meeting other breast feeding mums.'
