HORRABRIDGE Primary School pupils, staff and families are celebrating after the recent opening of a new after school club.

After waiting for a number of years due to funding difficulties, The Old School Children's Centre in Whitchurch, Tavistock has been able to work in partnership with Horrabridge to ensure that there is a club available to support the children and families in the local area.

Set in its own well-equipped and comfortable room within Horrabridge Primary School grounds, the club provides engaging activities, after-school snacks and a caring environment.

This is the third after school club that The Old School Children's Centre has opened in the Tavistock area, in addition to one at Tavistock Primary School and on its main site at Whitchurch, which have been running successfully for a number of years.
