ON last week?s front page there was another article regarding the need for a new road costing millions.
Originally it was stated that the traffic was at its worst during school start and finish times. This is because there is only one primary school and parents are driving through town to reach it. Or they are driving to the surrounding villages causing chaos there as well.
Would a solution be to build a new wonderful primary at the other end of town, therefore not only reducing traffic in Okehampton but also giving back a quality of life to the residents in the villages and saving the environment?
