A NEW home has been found for Tavistock Ring and Ride service’s minibuses — with a little help from the Times.
The old parking arrangement at the Molly Owen Centre at Pixon Lane finished on July 29, making it vital that a new overnight location for the minibuses was found so drivers can access them easily to take passengers into town and around the area.
Camplehaye Residential Home has kindly provided space for the buses and for a new shed to store wheelchairs and other equipment. Bowrish Sawmill gave a discount on the shed and then provided free delivery and assembly.
The buses’ new home was found after an appeal in the Times.
Hannah Humphries, from Ring and Ride, said: ‘We are very thankful to both Camplehaye and Bowrish Sawmill for their great generosity. Not only have we now found a new home for the buses, but the shed really helps us out too.’
