Mount House School is to get a new head.
Mr Anderson-Bickerley, bursar and clerk to the governors, said James Massey had been appointed by the governors, to take over in September 2002 when Charles Price retires after 18 years' distinguished service.
Mr Massey was educated at Bilton Grange Prep School and Oundle School, being awarded a BSc (Hons) at Reading University.
After working in
investment management in the City he taught at Caldicott Prep School, followed by a year at Hereworth Prep School in New Zealand.
Mr Massey was then invited to return to Oundle School — this time as a teacher, and is currently a housemaster there as well as coaching rugby, cricket, hockey and squash.
Married to Joanna, with two children, Jonathan, 4, and Lucy, 2, Mr Massey is a keen sportsman, having played county squash and university rugby and being a cricketer and golfer. He is also an offshore and small boat sailor.
