YOUNG people in the Okehampton area will soon be able to gain free access to training, support and advice right on their doorstep thanks to a new range of drop-in sessions.
West DEN?s youth training project Ley of the Land, which offers support to young people aged between 16 and 30, will be holding the fortnightly sessions at the Directions Information Centre in Okehampton.
Assistant project manager Anne Johnson said: ?We will be at Directions on alternate Wednesdays and any young person is welcome to drop in and have a chat about the courses we offer.?
Ley of the Land offers a variety of courses from hedgelaying to chainsaw operation, computers and craft based enterprises.
Directions Youth Information Point is in St James Street, Okehampton. Project workers will be there between noon and 2pm from Wednesday October 27.
