A FIRM of chartered surveyors who specialise in rural property and farming, with clients from North and West Devon has recently taken on a new director and changed its name.
Robert H Hicks Chartered Surveyors, based at Buckland Brewar, near Bideford, has been incorporated into Robert H Hicks & Co. The company has announced that Johanna Merritt is now a shareholder director along with Robert Hicks.
Although based at West Hele, Buckland Brewar for 12 years, the firm acts for a large number of clients in the Okehampton area.
Johanna Merritt has worked for the company for seven years, since leaving college and qualifying. She is the youngest female chartered surveyor, agricultural valuer equity company director in Devon and Cornwall.
Robert H Hicks said the company specialises in matters relating to rural property, including agricultural tenancies, rural planning, farm diversification and property management.
