TWO new councillors have been co-opted onto the Dartmoor Forest Parish Council to fill vacancies for the Princetown ward. Pat Weir and Steve King had their induction to their new positions in September. Mrs Weir has been at Princetown for more than two years. She owns the Plume of Feathers Inn and the Railway Inn, both in Princetown, and is a prominent member within the business community in the village. Mr King works at Dartmoor Prison and is a former councilor of a Dorset parish, bringing with him councillor and chairman experience. Ann Inman, the parish clerk, said: ?This brings us to the full amount, and they both bring good experience to the council.?
