A NEW student leadership team was appointed at Tavistock College recently.

The students, who are all in the sixth form, are active members of the college community and are considered good role models for their peers. They will be working with the senior leadership team in the college to ensure student issues are given high priority and they are all expected to represent the college at community events.

In addition, the student leadership team are nominated prefects and have a role in maintaining good order and discipline in the college by being actively engaged with the behaviour for learning process.

They will work with groups of students, not linked to the sixth form, to carry out projects to enhance what goes on in the college and to benefit the wider community.
