A NEW financial service opened its doors in Bere Alston recently, aimed at providing a competitive and convenient banking facilities to residents on the Bere Peninsula.

The DevonLane Credit Union branch is based at the United Church premises in Fore Street and is run by and for local people. Opening times are Monday, 9am until 11am and Friday, 3pm until 4.30pm ? there is also a mobile service on a Monday afternoon, available by phoning 01822 841185.
