A COURSE to encourage women to take up the sport of netball starts this month at Tavistock College.

Jenny Kelly, Devon Netball development officer, said the message to ladies is 'get fit, have fun, make friends.'

'Back to Netball is a ten to twelve week, gentle re-introduction to the sport for adult females of all ages,' she said. 'Sessions are coach led and will cover the basics of game from chest passes to footwork. Whether it is about rediscovering sporting abilities you forgot you had, about getting active again or just meeting a group of like minded ladies, these sessions cater for all abilities.'

'Back to Netball' starts at Tavistock Sports Centre on Sunday, February 27 between 6-7pm. It costs £3.50 per session or £30 for 10.
