PREMIERSHIP football club Queens Park Rangers and their manager, Neil Warnock, spent a week of their pre-season training at Duchy College's Stoke Climsland campus in preparation for the next football season.
Having recently been promoted to the premier football league, QPR last week beat Tavistock AFC 13-0.
Manager Neil Warnock, who has a house in Stoke Climsland, uses Duchy College's facilities every year and has in the past brought teams such as Sheffield United and Crystal Palace to the grounds. The team included new signings Jay Bothroyd and former West Ham midfielder Kieron Dyer.
Mr Warnock said: 'I know where I am down here. I like the people and it's good to show them a premier league team. It's great to come down here and not forgot the people that you've known for many a year. It's not just that. The attitude is good down here, and so are the pitches.'
Andrew Counsell, head of Duchy College said: 'It is fantastic that QPR have been promoted this season, and it is great that Neil brings his team down to the South West year on year to use the excellent facilities that Duchy College has to offer.'
