SECOND-HAND nursery equipment, maternity wear, toys and children's clothing will be on offer at a nearly new sale this Saturday, June 21, at the parish rooms in Tavistock. The sale is being run by the Montessori Nursery from 2pm to 4pm. Tables are available for £5 and admission is 20p. The proceeds will be used to buy new equipment for the children at the nursery. Contact Nicky on 618700 for more details or bookings. l Albaston Fete this Saturday, June 21, will include demonstrations of tag rugby, a 'gun run' by the pupils of Delaware School, a magician and live music to suit all tastes. The fair opens at 2pm at the Millenium Green. Proceeds will go to Liskeard Hospital League of Friends, Gunnislake Cricket Club, Albaston Millenium Green, Delaware School tag rugby team, Calstock Rowing Club and Callington Gospel Singers. No dogs are allowed on the green. l Tedddy bears are invited to join in a picnic in Tavistock Meadows following a Big Toddle on Thursday, June 26. The sponsored Barnado's toddle is organised by the Tavistock Area Children's Centre between 10am and noon. Children under five are invited to the teddy bears' picnic afterwards, bringing their own picnic and teddy bear.
