THE Society of Harrowbarrow and Metherell Entertainers (SHAME) will be presenting 'the Gift of Years' — a musical journey of remembrance — at Harrowbarrow and Metherell Village Hall next weekend.

The production, timed to coincide with Remembrance weekend, is at 7.30pm on Friday November 7 and 2.30pm and 7.30pm on Saturday November 8.

Tickets cost £4.50 adults, £3 children and are available from Harrowbarrow Post Office, or Jo on 01579 350120 or Malcolm on 01579 351656.

All proceeds from the show will be donated to the Poppy Appeal and Unicef.
