A TWO-day music workshop will be held next week with the aim to give players of any age a chance to play in an ensemble. The course will consist of playing new music to be performed in a concert at the end of the second day. The workshop is designed to help improve sight-reading and playing skills for players of beginner to intermediate levels. Both tutors, David Gray and Jenni Martin, are local music teachers with experience in conducting bands. From Wednesday April 12 to 13 the workshop will be held at Walkhampton Memorial Hall from 10am to 4pm. For one day it costs £16 and for both £24.
