MUSIC drifted over Stone Lane Gardens as the garden charity, near Chagford, hosted a fundraising music festival.
Five bands performed in and around the large barn and visitors to the garden enjoyed some wonderful music.
Hot Club Du Square started proceedings performing jazz standards from the 1930s and 40s Django-style. Then was the Tansy Rice latin/jazz band featuring David Orbiston on guitar, followed by folk duo Tiddlers who performed traditional music from Ireland and the British Isles.
The Hot House Four entertained a packed barn with their mix of American roots, jazz, swing and blues.
The day was rounded off with a set from The Nosey Crows who performed some lively original compositions penned by songstress Jenny Dooley.
The sale of refreshments contributed to the raised funds, with the day making £950 for the Stone Lane Gardens charity.
Garden manager Paul Bartlett expressed thanks to all the hard working volunteers and musicians that made such it such a successful day and the visitors who supported the music festival.
Stone Lane Gardens is a five acre water and woodland garden.
It is an environmental, conservation and arts charity, specialising in education and research.
