Music and humour at church concert

A YOUNG pianist from Tavistock will join a line-up of local artists appearing at Fairplace Church, Okehampton, on Saturday, November 6.

Helen Palmer will be joined by her concert pianist mother Beryl, and will play a duet with her sister, Alison, during a performance that will include works by Handel, Kreisler and Sibelius.

The guests will join singer David England, organist John Holland and actor and comedian Roger Partridge, who have been entertaining audiences for many years.

Admission is by ticket, £4, available at the 50/50 charity shop in the Arcade or at the church.
