DARTMOOR Border Morris will be performing a traditional Easter Mummers' play in the Great Barn of Buckland Abbey on Sunday, April 12, starting at 1 pm.

The play is loosely based on an old medieval 'miracle' play, involving a doctor with a bottle of potion, a winter queen, King Philip of Spain, Queen Elizabeth I and Chatterley the horse!

The play is a very family oriented event, lasting around 20 minutes, followed by much Morris dancing and will be repeated again around 2.30 pm.
