THE Bedford Hotel in Tavistock played host to a charity concert organised by band members from Mr E, which raised £400 for Devon Air Ambulance.

The event was held at the hotel thanks to the permission of Sarah and Charles Howard who donated the space.

The evening started with an acoustic session by Indie Thompson, who sang some of her own compositions and some covers. Charlie and Tom Scoble AKA 'Atlantic Bridge' entertained the audience with their own take on various covers and songs written by themselves.

The young band Mr E (Harry, guitar, Will, drums, Ben, bass and Christian, vocals) headlined the concert and at then end of their set, which involved four of their own songs, they were called back for an encore.

The boys, all aged 15 and under, organised the event themselves.

Thanks were expressed to Roger King who supplied the lights and sound system.
