NEW classrooms at Kelly College Junior School were opened officially on Tuesday by West Devon and Torridge Liberal Democrat MP John Burnett.

Welcoming him, headmaster Richard Jeynes said it was a significant development for the school as the new buildings would provide facilities that would enable it to continue its tradition of excellence.

Also on show at the opening ceremony were the recently constructed millennium garden and the new adventure playground provided by the parents' association.
