TURN up the tempo because Latin dancing is coming to Moretonhampstead. One of the South West's top salsa dance teachers Angus Peters is running Latin DX classes in the sports and community centre every Tuesday from 10am to noon. This is a chance to dance off the Christmas pounds as the fast-paced dance exercise session is set to Latin music. The classes are designed to build up body fitness and co-ordination. Mr Peters has taught salsa for more than seven years. He has a wide knowledge of the music and history of the dances and brings infectious enthusiasm and humour to his sessions. Each week the class will feature a different routine, taught from scratch. No dance experience is necessary and since every class is a self-contained session there is no problem of catch up if participants miss one or two classes.
