THE third bike ride in memory of Jason McCaffery will take place this Sunday. All proceeds from the charity ride in memory of Jason who died, on October 17, 2001, aged 32, will go to Devon Air Ambulance. The event takes place on Sunday, May 29, from the Plume of Feathers car park, Okehampton at 11am, travelling from Okehampton to Tavistock, then on to Princetown and Moretonhampstead and back to the Plume. Motorcyclists are invited to pay £5 each to participate. Jason?s mother, Jenny McCaffery said: ?Jason was a keen motorcyclist. He lived his life to the full. He left behind two sons, Declan and Brendan.? She said she hoped the money raised from the bike ride would help the Air Ambulance, who did a ?great job?.
